Lift Our Voices is excited to announce the release of a brand new report: Breaking the Silence: Stakeholder Experiences with New Jersey’s Non-Disclosure Agreement Ban.

Authored by Dr. Mark Gough of Penn State University, and funded by the Ford Foundation, this report assesses the impact of New Jersey’s ban on NDAs regarding toxic workplace behavior on the business, legal, and survivor communities.

The report’s findings and recommendations will be useful to thought leaders who are looking to ensure workplaces in their city or state are transparent and safe for employees.

A new poll conducted by Morning Consult and commissioned by Lift Our Voices finds that majorities of U.S. adults across the political spectrum support ending the silencing mechanisms that contribute to toxic workplaces. Further findings show that incidents of discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace are underreported, especially by women.
